Outside the LV Martin Service Area

We strive to ensure you have the best possible shopping experience with us.

Here are the benefits you get by shopping with LV Martin, from whatever part of New Zealand you live in:

  1. You can "Buy it to try it"
    Take the appliance home. Use it for 2-3 days. Be sure it's what you want. If you're not satisfied, either we make it satisfactory or we will take it back. (Excludes personal hygiene and grooming products for health reasons, games, DVD's and software for copyright reasons.)
  2. You can change your mind
    14 day right of return
    If the product is returned within 14 days in 'as new' condition, you'll receive a full refund. (Excludes personal hygiene and grooming products for health reasons, games, DVD's and software for copyright reasons.)
    30 day right to upgrade
    Within 1 month you can change your appliance for one worth 1/3 more and we will give you a full credit for your first choice. The credit will be the lesser of the price you paid or its current price.
  3. We promise you the best value
    Please ask us "What is included in your price?" so you can fairly compare our offer with others. We have much more to offer than just a great price.
  4. We promise you our best price
    If you buy, and within 14 days we reduce our price, then you are entitled to a refund. You have 30 days from the day you buy to claim a refund.
  5. We ensure a guaranteed service life on all products
    We guarantee:
    10 Years on Washers, fridges, dishwashers, ranges, wall ovens, cooktops
    7 Years on TVs and stereos
    5 Years on all other appliances.
    If we can not service your appliance or supply a replacement part within its guaranteed service life, we will share the cost of a new appliance with you
  6. It's the putting right that counts
    We live by our statement "It's the putting right that counts". We do everything in our power to do it right the first time, but in the life of complex electronics, things can go wrong, and if they do, we are absolutely committed to "putting it right".

Please note: We cannot personally service distant locations.

We are a Wellington based company, and cannot personally provide after sales service beyond our geographic service area. The LV Martin service area is defined as the greater Wellington region (as far north as Levin in the west and Kaitoke in the East).

If goods we supply are either taken by you or sent by us outside our service boundary then even if home service has been paid for, the following applies:

  1. We cannot unpack or install
  2. We cannot promise to provide an in house demonstration
  3. Guarantee service may not be carried out by our own staff
  4. Service may only be provided during normal commercial hours
  5. You may have to return the good to us for service
  6. We may not be able to offer you a service contract
  7. After the guarantee expires you return the goods to us for service, or arrange your own service with a local service agent
  8. We cannot rescue frozen food in the event of a freezer failure
  9. We may not be able to provide you with a loan appliance whilst yours is being repaired
  10. We cannot provide you with a free, no obligation in-home consultation when looking to buy an air conditioner

In addition:

  • The low, fixed installation fees may not apply
  • We cannot trade in appliances that are located outside our service area
