Portable CD players, which are mainly for outdoor use, have until now suffered from the seemingly unavoidable problem of skipping.
Panasonic has overcome this with the development of an Anti-Skip System that tackles skipping in a variety of ways. First, the thin, lightweight transverse mechanism minimises the influence of surrounding vibrations. Plus it’s a floating construction with the use of rubber to also help absorb vibrations. Next the advanced servo system is ultra quick to recover before skipping occurs. And finally the large capacity 48-second backup memory operates to provide near perfect, skip-free CD entertainment.
