Welcome to the future with Inverter technology. Radically redesigned for the 21st century, the Inverter microwave ovens are loaded with powerful and convenient features not found in conventional microwaves.
How Inverter technology works ...
Traditional microwaves send out a single level of power in small bursts to cook food at different speeds. For example, when set at 60% power, the microwave energy would be on 60% of the time and idle 40% of the time.
Inverter microwaves, however, give accurate, "true" multiple power levels. When you ask for 60% power, the oven delivers 60% power (ie they don’t just operate 60% of the time). This applies no matter what power level is selected. ‘True’ power levels give you better cooking results - your food has an even texture and temperature after cooking. And the constant "soft" penetration of microwave energy into the centre of the food helps prevent overcooking on edges and surfaces.
Other benefits of Inverter technology ...
Panasonic also uses Inverter technology in its turbo defrost feature - you can now defrost foods up to 43% faster than regular auto weight defrost!
Touch the sensor reheat and cook buttons once, and sensors inside the microwave calculates cooking times and power levels.
Bulk cooking is a breeze with 2 level cooking. You can prepare several dishes at once at low to medium temperatures.
A steady, ultra low level of power is delivered by Inverter technology so you can keep your favourite dishes warm without overcooking.
For their size, Inverter microwaves have a large oven capacity thanks to the smart, space-saving Inverter circuit. So you can upsize your cooking space with a full sized interior inside a mid sized microwave. And a full size oven provides an extra large capacity!
