When you purchase an appliance, you want peace of mind about its performance. With our 5 year Performance Assured Guarantee, you can have that total peace of mind.

With any major appliance that you purchase from LV Martins, you can upgrade from our standard guarantee to our 5 year Performance Assured Guarantee. This means that if your appliance needs repair anytime in the first 5 years we will complete the service at absolutely no cost to you. Please see below for the upgrade cost.

You have two opportunities to purchase a 5 year Performance Assured Guarantee:

1. At the time you purchase your major appliance from one of our stores
2. Within one calendar month of your purchase

If you purchase a 5 year Performance Assured Guarantee, and within the first 2 years your new appliance develops a serious fault that causes you to question its future reliability, then we give you the option of a repair, refund or total replacement.

At the end of either the 5 year Performance Assured Guarantee or our standard guarantee, we give you the option of purchasing a Service Contract, which covers all the costs that may be incurred with regard to parts, service and labour. A Service Contract can be renewed on a yearly basis until parts and service for the product are no longer available. As an alternative, you might like to take up our Total Household Cover. This is an excellent option, which covers your entire range of home appliances for all labour costs if you need them repaired. All you would pay for are the parts.

LV Martin & Son offer the 5 year Performance Assured Guarantee only in the greater Wellington region, as far north as Levin in the West and Kaitoke in the East. Outside of this area LV Martin & Son offer an extended warranty where there is an established network of service centres.
